Phoenix Trip

Making Shapes out of Pipe cleaners to pass the time
My sister Camille has been working on getting her Bachelor's degree for the last 16 years.  I am happy for her--she has worked long and hard and has been persistent while moving all over the world and have 5 children.  She is seriously one of the people I admire most in all the world.  When she told me she was graduating  and had decided to go to Phoenix to walk, I knew more than anything I wanted to go.  I was so excited when all the details fell into place for me to go!  Preston and I tagged along with my Mom and Dad.  Rebekah stayed with cousins (Thanks again Mel!)  and Burke stayed home to work (Thanks Husband!)It was a very quick trip and we were pretty worn out when it was all over, but I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with Camille, her beautiful family, my Parents, and my cute boy Preston.
Preston told me, "Mom those aren't too bad on you!"  He is officially not my fashion consultant!

The Graduation-- I kept tearing up through the whole thing.  I was just so overcome with how amazing my sister is!

So so proud of this girl!  This day has been a really l.o.n.g. time coming!  Great work Camille :)  Thanks so much for your  amazing example and friendship!

Another Camping Trip

Setting up the tent
We had a another fun camping trip about 3 weeks ago-- our Stake has a family temple day each year in June.  Burke wanted to go camping that weekend so we combined the trip.  Temple Friday afternoon and then we drove 15 minutes up the mountain from the temple and found a beautiful campsite.  We set up camp, explored, hiked, and survived a very windy night!  I love to be in the wilderness with my favorite people!!

Rousing Game of Go Fish!

A Few Fun Outings

We also went to Highline Lake  about a month ago for a ward activity.  It was fun-- I only remembered to pull out my camera at the very end when we were just about ready to get out.

Terrific Two Wheelers

The big news at our house this summer is:  we graduated from training wheels all around!
I. love. this. development :)  So far the summer has been pretty full of lots family biking!
