Preston told us about 2 weeks ago that he really wanted to go to the "hamburger store" so we used it as motivation (bribery?!) to help him "take the next step" in potty training. He has done SO great and we rarely have had wet pants accidents . . . but for whatever reason messy pants accidents were recurrent and a seemingly impossible barrier to break. So Saturday morning he finally figured it out and wore ONE pair of underware the whole day!!! Needless to say I was ecstatic! So I can chant my enthusiasm (for having Preston that much closer to being fully potty trained) with those annoying commercials, " ba ba ba ba ba I'm lovin' it!!!"Monday, February 9, 2009

Such cute pics of Daddy and the kids! How is everything in CO? We are getting closer (I think) to finally getting down there and we can't wait!
Wow! What a fun treat! Go Preston.
We got Preston's wonderful artwork in the mail today. Emily's been carrying out around - she loves it! Thank you Preston and Rebekah!
Yippee Preston! What a fun family dinner (even though my kids like the food SO much better than me-Yuck!)
ps-I love the pic of Rebekah in the swing at the park...adorable!
Way to go Preston!! So awesome and what a great reward to get to go to "The Hamburger Store". That is so cute.
How fun!! I love the picture of your little guy looking up at his Daddy while eating his cheeseburger, so cute!
I love when the kids pass the "potty training" milestone. We used the same 'bribery' technique..only my kids called it....... going to "Donald's House" for dinner ! :) It worked though. As for the playplace, definitely let your kids go in, and then IMMEDIATELY after...use some hand cleaner! (just to be safe) :)
