Preschool With Rebekah

Rebekah and I had a fun year of preschool at home!  We both learned a lot, and I enjoyed all of those extra moments with my sweet girl.  

We very loosely followed the curriculum outline on The Letter of the Week website and we also heavily relied on Starfall.  I love the internet!  I love that someone else is willing to share their ideas and their efforts so that I could show up for my daughter this way-- because otherwise I am telling you it would not have happened!  I was delighted/shocked/surprised when she started reading just after her birthday.  She has excelled quickly and is honestly a stronger reader than Preston in some ways.  I am SO thankful my kiddies are good readers!  When I was teaching 7th and 8th graders and a few could not read it broke my heart--so having children who are able to read without a lot of pain is a blessing I do not take lightly.  Here was one of the activities we did on "Z" week!
